Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings & Deposits
1.1 A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing by The Moving Company South West.
1.2 All deposits are non-refundable. This covers administrative costs, scheduling, and loss of potential bookings.
1.3 The remaining balance must be paid as agreed before or on the day of the scheduled move.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
2.1 If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, your deposit will not be refunded.
2.2 If you wish to reschedule your booking, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new date, subject to availability.
3. Access & Customer Responsibilities
3.1 You are responsible for ensuring that adequate access is available at all collection and delivery points.
3.2 Any delays caused by restricted access, parking difficulties, or other issues outside our control may result in additional charges.
3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that all items to be moved are ready and safely packed prior to collection unless packing services have been arranged.
4. Liability
4.1 While every care is taken with your belongings, The Moving Company South West will not be liable for damage or loss caused by circumstances beyond our control.
4.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods as declared before the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Insurance
5.1 Basic liability cover is included as part of our service. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request before the moving date.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation.
6.2 Non-payment of any balance by the agreed date may result in cancellation of services without refund of the deposit.
7. Governing Law
7.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland].
